Service area
Square Away Services is based in the south of the city, and that is where most of our work is: garages, sheds and storage rooms in Red Mill, Strawbridge, Ocean Lakes and Lago Mar, along the General Booth corridor, out toward Sandbridge and down into Pungo. We sort the space with you, organize what stays, haul off the rest, and hand it back usable.
Based in Southern Virginia Beach, with service expanding throughout Virginia Beach as we grow.
What we do here
Garage cleanouts, garage organization, shed cleanouts, hauling and moving help — four moves that most jobs use together, and the Full Square Away when you want all of them in one visit.

Neighbourhoods and areas where a short drive is the normal drive. Not a hard boundary — if you're nearby and not on this list, ask.

Why local matters
Being close is not a slogan here. It is the reason the estimate comes back quickly, the reason scheduling is simple, and the reason the price is for the work rather than for the road.
When the job is a few minutes away, fitting it in is simple — and there is no travel surcharge hiding in the estimate.
A few pictures of the space are usually enough to put a real number on it, so you are not waiting on a site visit to get started.
The donation drop-offs, the transfer station, the HOA parking rules, the way a two-car garage on a coastal street fills up with beach and bike gear — none of it needs explaining.
Jobs near each other are easier for everyone. If we are already working on your street, a neighbour's garage is an easy one to fit in.
How it works
Every job runs the same four moves, so you know what the day looks like before anyone picks anything up.
We go through the space with you and separate what stays, what can be donated, and what has to go.
Everything you're letting go gets carried out and loaded — furniture, boxes, yard equipment, the lot.
What stays gets a logical home: grouped by how you actually use it, on shelves, hooks, and labelled bins.
The floor gets swept and the space gets handed back usable — park in it, work in it, walk through it.
Those four moves are the day itself. Getting to it is simpler: send a few photos of the space, we confirm the scope and come back with a clear quote, and the project is scheduled once you approve it. No pressure, and nothing is committed before you have the number.
Questions
We're based in Southern Virginia Beach — Red Mill, Strawbridge, Ocean Lakes, Lago Mar, the General Booth corridor, the Sandbridge area, Pungo and the neighborhoods around them — and that is where most of our work is. Service is expanding throughout Virginia Beach as we grow. If you're nearby and not sure, send your ZIP code with your quote request and we'll tell you straight.
Ask. Other parts of Virginia Beach are jobs we take on as the schedule allows, and the estimate will say plainly if travel is part of it. Beyond the city line isn't something we're set up for as a regular service yet — but if you're close and the job is a good fit, send the details and we'll give you an honest answer rather than a stretched one.
Usually not. Photos of the space are normally enough to work out scope, so most estimates happen without anyone coming out — which is faster for you as well as for us. If a project is unusual, very large, or something in the photos needs a closer look, we will say so and arrange to see it in person before quoting.
You send us the details and a few photos of the space, we work out the scope, and we come back with an estimate and any questions. Nothing is scheduled or charged at that point — the estimate comes first, you decide, and the project is scheduled once the scope and availability are confirmed. There is no pressure and no obligation at any stage.
A small area is often a couple of hours. A packed two-car garage is typically a half-day to a full day, depending on how much is being removed and how many decisions there are to make.
A few details and photos are enough to start. Your ZIP code goes in with the request, so we can confirm you're nearby before anything else.
